Piggy Pancakes. No this isn't about pigs, unfortunately. But, it is however about pancakes (and other foods, too).
I'm Haylea & for about the last three years, I have been cooking and baking up some delicious foods that are healthy, too (most of the time). All the food I make is gluten free! Some of it is even paleo and vegan friendly.
I started cooking & baking this way, because-
1) It is super healthy.
2) My boyfriend has to eat gluten free.
3) It make you feel like a whole new person!
So, back to Piggy Pancakes.
This is my new business endeavor! For a long while I have been thinking about how I could get into the baking and food industry. And recently, I was struck with the best idea!
You see, one of my favorite things to do on Saturday mornings is to make pancakes and waffles. I have these down to perfection.
One of my other favorite things is local farmer's market. Like I could live at these in the spring, summer, and fall. Love.
Lastly, my favorite animal in the whole wide world is a pig, which helped me to create the awesome name ;)
So, drum roll please...... I have decided to rent a spot at a local farmers market this year and sell, you guessed it, PANCAKES!
They will of course be gluten-free and delicious!
So far, I have about 9 different pancakes on the menu. I plan to sell a selected variety fresh each weekend. Then, if buyers want, they can purchase 1/2 dozen or dozen frozen pancakes (which will be my regular pancakes, plus two selected gourmet pancake blends that will be different each weekend).
I am so excited about this adventure.
If you aren't into pancakes, don't worry! I will also be posting all of my other foodie adventures on this blog as well. For example, last night, I dabbled with a recipe and created the most deliciously satisfying Cauliflower Crust Colby Jack Grilled Cheese. Yes, it was heavenly.

Since I am located in the Indianapolis area, I know some people will be unable to purchase my scrumptious pancakes, so I will eventually be working on how to sell and ship my frozen varieties. If anyone has any tips please comment!
Also, I am always open to trying new, fun combinations for my pancakes! So, if anything sounds delicious to you, leave a suggestion below, and I will try to come up with something fabulous!
Thanks for following me on this new journey :)
Oink! Oink! Haylea.
